American Collegiate Horsemen’s Association (ACHA) unites collegiate horsemen of all levels and disciplines through the promotion of leadership, education, service and national affiliations. ACHA hosts a national convention each year to bring student and chapter members together to learn more about the horse industry and develop their leadership skills through tours, panel discussions and other networking opportunities. The organization also recognizes outstanding chapters and students through annual awards.
ACHA welcomes students from any four-year or two-year equine programs in the country. If you would like more information about the organization, the benefits of membership or how to start a local chapter, visit our Membership page for more information.
Have you seen the newly updated website for ACHA?! It has tons of information on memberships, awards, and more! 🥳 #horsemansassociation #collegiatehorsemansassociation #Acha

Here is the bio of one of our impressive speakers Cindy Wynn.
Passion for family, agriculture, horses and the western lifestyle is what drives Cindy Wynn. She grew up in Florida where her younger years were spent on the backs of two ponies. She fondly remembers riding through the orange groves, swimming in canals, and showing in local 4-H shows. Later she moved to Georgia and in 1981, she was crowned Miss Rodeo Georgia and went on to compete in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant. She graduated from Valdosta State University with an education degree and taught in a classroom for 16 years.
In 2006, she accepted a job with the University of Georgia as a 4-H Extension Agent. She serves on the Georgia 4-H Horse Advisory Committee, the Equine Task Force and coordinator for the equine demos held during the Sunbelt Agricultural Expo.
She is the Youth Advisor for the Georgia Ranch Horse Association and has coached the Georgia/Florida Youth Team at the ARHA World Championship show for the past 6 years. She also serves as a member of the ARHA’s National Youth Committee. She has coached rodeo queens and judged for over 30 years and has been the pageant coordinator for the Miss Sunbelt Rodeo Queen Pageant for 9 years.
She has been honored with numerous awards over the years including the Golden Saddle Award from the Georgia Equine Commission in 2020 for her dedication to promoting the equine industry. In her spare time, she enjoys showing ranch horses. She and her horse CD IN THE ENDZONE, are two time AQHA World Champions and four time American Ranch Horse World Champions. She and her husband Henry have been married 34 years and together raised 3 children; J.T., Jon and Sunnie Dee. They entire family is proudly connected to the equine industry.
